13-Dec-09 - **NEWS** - Anna appeared in the London Evening Standard ES Magazine on 4 December and on the cover of the Sunday Times Magazine today. Scans added to the Gallery.

29-Nov-09 - **NEWS** - On 21 November Anna and her father, Des, performed at "Swing On A Star", a charity event on behalf of Friends Renunited Network held at The Bloomsbury Theatre in London. They sang "If You're Not There", an out-take song from "Irish Jam" co-written by Des. From all accounts the evening was a superb event and received well by all who attended.

On 23 November, Anna presented Lenny Henry with Best Newcomer at the Evening Standard Theatre Awards held at the Royal Opera House. Pictures to be added to the Gallery.

21-Nov-09 - **NEWS** - On Thursday night (19 Nov), Anna switched the Christmas Lights on in Bond Street, London as part of the Bond Noel festivities. Dressed in a glamorous strapless pink dress with a large bow, she attended the event with David and Gracie and thousands of other shoppers, visitors and tourists. Anna's appearance fee for the event went to the Great Ormond Street Hospital Charity. Lots of pictures added to the Gallery. (Credit: Ian Gavan - Getty, PA Wire, Splash)

17-Nov-09 - **NEWS** - At the RTS Awards in Manchester on Saturday night, Anna won Best Performance In a Single Drama or Series for her superbly moving and emotional performance in "The Street" .

Anna's father Des, accepting the award with Anna's mother on her behalf,  said: "Anna can't be here as she's performing on the West End, but if you want to see an amalgam of Anna, this is it. I'm daddy Friel and this is mummy Friel, and we have the honour to be here tonight to see all of you people congratulate our daughter. She is thrilled with this award".

The Street also won 4 additional RTS Awards including the prestigious Judges Award.

08-Nov-09 - Added some new pictures of Anna leaving the Theatre Royal Haymarket to the Gallery , including some of Anna in her Halloween costume !! (tres chic !)

24-Oct-09 - **NEWS** - Anna will be appearing on "The Paul O'Grady Show" on Channel 4 on Tuesday 27 October at 5pm. Also appearing are James Dreyfuss and Alan Davies.

21-Oct-09 - **NEWS** - Anna is providing the narration on a new 3 part ITV1 documentary "7 Days on the Breadline" - the first part was shown last night (sorry for the late notice!) - it is available to watch on the ITV website on the ITV Player option. The 2nd episode is shown next Tuesday on ITV1 at 9pm

29-Sep-09 - **NEWS** - It's "Breakfast At Tiffany's" Gala Night tonight - Good Luck Anna !

28-Sep-09 - Added a number of promotional "Breakfast At Tiffany's" pictures by Geraint Lewis and Johan Persson to the Gallery. (copyright retained by the photographers).

24-Sep-09 - Added more pictures to the Gallery of Anna leaving the Theatre Royal Haymarket, plus 124 exclusive screengrabs from "Theatreland" Episode 8.

Also added to the Forum and to the Interviews page is an interview published in today's "The Independent" newspaper (scans from the paper added later !). The interview mentions some of the things we discussed with Anna when we met with her in her dressing room the other week (the scenes filmed for the new Woody Allen film, and the film offer in New Zealand...more to come very soon on those projects !)

14-Sep-09 - More updates to the Gallery including additional pictures of Anna leaving the Theatre Royal Haymarket on the 2nd, 3rd and 4th nights - plus exclusive pictures of Anna arriving at the Theatre on Saturday (many thanks to davec !) . Also added are scans from "Time Out London".

13-Sep-09 - Many thanks to Anna for meeting up with myself and members of the forum last night after the evening performance of "Breakfast At Tiffany's" (which was absolutely superb). We were privileged enough to visit Anna in her dressing room after the play ended and discussed the play, her upcoming projects, her recent projects, thoughts on how the play was going and posed for some exclusive pictures. Also thanks to Des and Anna's PA for arranging last night - you are both very kind. (Please note the pictures cannot be used without permission). See you again soon Anna ;)

 

10-Sep-09 - Lots to add today !! - "Breakfast At Tiffany's" opened last night for the first night of previews ahead of the Gala Official Opening night on 29 September. Early reviews suggest the play is extremely good with excellent performances by the whole cast . Further reviews to come - please feel free to leave reviews and comments in the forum.

31-Aug-09 - Added 116 screengrabs from Episode 5 of "Theatreland" to the Gallery. The programme featured interviews with Anna on "Breakfast At Tiffany's" and footage of rehearsals for the play. See them all here

27-Aug-09 - Watch Anna in rehearsals for "Breakfast at Tiffany's" in "Theatreland" on Sky Arts 1 . It will be shown tonight at 8pm, Friday at 4pm and Sunday at 7.30pm. Watch each of the remaining 3 episodes for further rehearsal and behind-the-scenes footage. The show's full 8 episodes are released on DVD on 19 October.

18-Aug-09 - **NEWS** Anna is carrying out an Interview and Photoshoot today(!!) for London Time Out magazine - no date yet for when this will be published but watch out for it on newsstands !!! Hopefully will have some of the pictures here as soon as they are ready !

I've added 4 fairly rare pictures to the Gallery of Anna at the Goal! Première Party @ The Space in London back in 2005. Enjoy !

16-Aug-09 - Anna is featured on the cover and in an interview in The Sunday Times Style Magazine today. The interview is added to Magazines page and is also in a post on the forums. Scans added to the Gallery.

09-Aug-09 - Added 5 scans from the Turkish version of Esquire Magazine from 2008. The magazine featured different photos from the UK version. These scans come from my copy of the magazine and are exclusive to this site.

08-Aug-09 - Anna is featured on the cover and inside the September edition of "Easy Living" magazine in the UK . It's on newsstands now. Scans added to the Gallery .

27-July-09 - Anna and David attended the Cartier International Polo Day yesterday. I've added 43 pictures to the gallery (thanks to Duluoz, D, Tannim and Amanda)

21-July-09 - Anna appeared in "The Street" last night and appears to have received unanimous praise and commendation for her performance - with The Times giving the show 5 out of 5 stars...

18-July-09 - **Reminder** Anna appears in "The Street" this coming Monday 20 July on BBC1 @ 9pm. One of Anna's best pieces of work and one of the toughest she has had to film due to its nature, be sure to watch it and come back to the forums afterwards to discuss your thoughts.....

06-June-09 - **NEWS** If you haven't managed to see "Bathory" yet, then it is available to watch as a streamed movie online at the LoveFilm.com website - click here to see the specific "Bathory" page. The site is a DVD rental and Streamed Films subscription site but currently offers 2 free weeks trial (membership is restricted to the UK only). Many thanks to Tony for spotting this !

Also US fans are currently in Anna appearance overload during the promotion for "Land of The Lost" - Anna has already appeared on NBC Today Show on 2 June (screengrabs coming soon courtesy of Blondezilla ), has been part of TV Network's "Land of The Lost" Special on 4 June, and will be appearing on "The Tonight Show with Conan O'Brien" on 8 June and "The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson" (again!) on 11 June.

30-April-09 - Anna appeared on "The Graham Norton Show" on BBC2 in the UK tonight. It is repeated (in a longer version) on Sunday night, and is also available to watch on BBC iplayer. A couple of screengrabs added below, more to follow....

24-April-09 - Anna and David attended the St George's Day Party last night at the start of Britweek in LA. The party was held at the British Consul General's Official Residence. Added 11 pictures of the event to the gallery.

21-April-09 - Anna and David attended the Premiere of "The Soloist" last night at the Paramount Theatre in Los Angeles. Added 14 HQ pictures of the event to the gallery.

18-April-09 - Pushing Daisies Series 2 Episode 11 - "Window Dressed To Kill" was shown on ITV1 in the UK last night (weeks ahead of the planned US broadcast). Screengrabs added to the gallery very soon - along with screengrabs from Episode 10....

13-April-09 - Pushing Daisies Series 2 is released in the UK on DVD and BluRay on 25 May.

19-February-09 - Anna and David (and Anna's mum Julie) attended the WarChild/O2 Brit Awards Afterparty at Shepherds Bush Empire last night. 31-January-09 - **NEWS** - Anna will be making her long-awaited return to UK TV chat shows when she makes a guest appearance on next Friday's Jonathan Ross show on BBC1. The show airs at 10.35pm on Friday 6 February 2009 (conflicting nicely with the new series of "Pushing Daisies" !). You can check the show details here

11-January-09 - **NEWS** - Anna's next project will be starring in an episode of Jimmy McGovern's "The Street" due to be aired on the BBC later this year. She is currently filming in Manchester and her role consists of playing a young mother who works 2 jobs. During the day she works in a B&Q store, and by night, she dances in a club. (Pictures coming soon...)

01-January-09 - A Happy New Year from Anna, me (the webmaster) and all involved with the website.  Added as a "New Year Special" is 1 of Anna's rarely seen promotional pictures for "Closer" - enjoy and have a wonderful 2009 !
