Today I received the following e-mail from Soda Pictures, who
are distributing and promoting "Niagara Motel", Anna's next movie.
I am contacting you in regard to a new film starring Anna Friel which will
open in cinemas nationwide from November 11 2005.
Niagara Motel stars Anna Friel alongside Kevin Pollak (The Usual Suspects)
and Craig Ferguson (Saving Grace), as Denise, a young mother fresh out of
rehab and desperate to get her baby back from social services. All her
attempts at presenting herself as a reformed model mother seem to backfire,
taking the story further into blackly comic farce.

"Rogue Trader" was given away as a free DVD in last weekend's "The Mail On Sunday" - not the first of Anna's films to be that readily available as "Me Without You" was given away with a magazine sometime ago.
"Goal" has been released for a while now - a very good take on the football film genre (there's been some real stinkers...) and is looking really well for the rest of the trilogy (with Joss Stone rumoured to be in Goal 2 !!). I'll post a lot of film screen grabs here in the next day or 2......

Last night SKY Movies had a 30 minute special on the making of "Goal !". Anna was interviewed during the making of it, and also a number of clips were shown. Screen Grabs to be added - plus as always, it's being shared in my Anna Friel folder on DirectConnect.... (I'll sort out an e-mail address for queries v soon).
Also yesterday lunchtime, ITV1 had a 30 minute "Goal!" special from the premiere in Leicester Square - once again screengrabs soon...
22-Aug-05 "Perfect Strangers" was shown on satellite channel "SKY Movies2" today (twice) - more stills coming very soon. DVD copy available for trades of other Anna footage etc....

17-July-05 Added below is the first picture of Anna after the birth of her daughter, Gracie. Looking very well and proud to be out with her !!
13-July-05 Many Congratulations to Anna & David on the birth of their daughter Gracie on Saturday 9th July - she weighed in at 7lb 4oz and was born at London's exclusive Portland Hospital.
Anna's dad Des confirmed that both mother and baby were doing well and are now back at their London home after the birth on Saturday.He said: "Gracie is the most beautiful little girl you've ever seen, but I suppose all proud grandads say that." He revealed Gracie isn't named after Rochdale's most famous entertainer Gracie Fields but after Anna's great great grandmother.
