15-April-03 NEWS - Anna appeared on "Des & Mel" earlier today looking very energetic and talkative (as usual). I'll post a full transcription and pics later in the week - but here are a couple of vidcaps in the meantime.
14-April-03 NEWS - Just a reminder to watch/record "Des & Mel" on ITV1 tomorrow (15 April) @ 1pm. Anna is due to appear to promote "Watermelon". ITV1 has been showing adverts for "Watermelon" for the past few days.

10-April-03 NEWS - One of Anna's co-stars in "Watermelon" (due to screen 16 April) is none other than ex-Brookside actress Helen Grace who played Georgia Simpson (circa 1996) who also had some controversial storylines. The similarities don't stop there as they share the same agents - Conway Van Gelder !
09-April-03 NEWS - With "Watermelon" showing on ITV1 next Wednesday 16th April - Anna is featured (to varying degrees) in all the Weekly TV listing magazines plus a few other "weeklies". No doubt there will be 1 or 2 interviews in Saturday's & Sunday's papers too.

25-March-03 NEWS - Further to the news I added on 1 March, the release of Anna's next film has received additional slippage - it is now 26th November 2003. According to Richard Donner "it's a less crowded time of the year" (obviously joking as nothing else is scheduled in for this week yet !!).
Also Jerry Goldsmith has scored the movie ( last December at Paramount) and whilst in London recently stated that the DVD extras are being compiled and produced already !!

01-March-03 NEWS - For anyone awaiting the release of Anna's next film "Timeline", it is now accepted that due to timing and post-production issues, the release date has slipped from April to July this year. Sources indicate that the castle scenes are massive and breath-taking. Here is a recent report regarding some of the sets:

February 28, 2003 - Actor Matt Craven is impressed
with the work Richard Donner and his set builders put into the Timeline
science lab. "It was huge," Craven told Sci Fi Wire. "I did a movie called
Crimson Tide, and we worked on this 90-foot gimbal. The set for [Timeline]
was twice the size, and the actual machine was almost as big as that gimbal.
It was huge, very impressive."
Craven is referring to the time-travel apparatus that will transport
a group of archaeology students led by Chris Hughes (actor Paul
Walker) back in time to Medieval France this summer when Timeline is
released in theaters. Craven plays Kramer, a scientist in the adaptation of
Michael Crichton's second-to-newest novel.
Although Craven does not have the privilege of visiting the Middle Ages in
the film, he was able to visit the castle and town set that was built in
Québec, Canada for the movie.
"The medieval set is awesome," says Craven. "I've also seen some of the
movie, so I can tell you that it's spectacular looking. They spent $90
million on it, and it's all up there."
Donner, who made the film, is known for his disaffection for
computer-generated effects, preferring instead to rely on large, detailed
sets and on-set effects.
26-February-03 NEWS - For those of you who didn't realise, Anna's last film "The War Bride"was released on DVD on Monday 24th February. A tale of love and life in Britain and Canada during the Second World War, it is one of Anna's more critically lauded films. If you haven't seen it yet, it is a very engaging and moving film with a great supporting cast.
